Initial dose based on previous asthma drug therapy and disease severity; 100 mcg via oral inhalation once daily is the usual recommended starting dose for patients not on an inhaled corticosteroid. After 2 weeks of therapy, if asthma symptoms are uncontrolled, increase dose to 200 mcg via oral inhalation once daily. Max: 200 mcg once daily. Administer at the same time each day. The maximum beneficial effect may not be achieved for up to 2 weeks or longer after starting treatment. Titrate to the lowest effective dose once asthma stability is achieved.
Although Cypionate stays in the system for much longer than a week this product gets injected on a weekly basis. Some athletes even prefer to take this substance twice a week. It is not unheard of for an athlete to take up to 1000mg of this product per week. Cypionate is one of the most powerful mass building drugs available. Large doses are not necessary but many guys have reported taking huge amounts of this drug per week. Cypionate is stacked well with Equipoise, Deca, Dianabol or Anapolon. This product would generally not be used pre-contest due to the excessive water retention and the long duration in the blood. Once taking this substance you can not manipulate it the same way you can do with Propionate and you are bound to look smooth if attempting to use it pre contest.
Metyrapone is used for the medical control of hypercortisolism in Cushing's syndrome (ACTH dependent or independent). The aim for medical treatment is to achieve pre-operative control of hypercortisolism, or for control of residual disease persisting post-operatively (TSS, adrenalectomy). It is not for long term definitive treatment/cure, only as an adjunct (surgery is the aim for cure in most causes of Cushing's syndrome). Metyrapone hence acts by inhibiting adrenal steroidogenesis. One side effect is hirsutism (in women) because of the excess androgen precursors created. The other commonly used agent for medical treatment of Cushing's is ketoconazole (an anti-fungal agent). This does not exhibit the side effect of hirsutism.
